Plain-English answers about what we collect, why, and what we'll never do with it.

Effective date: August 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how CJS Insurance Solutions LLC (“CJS,” “we,” “us”) — an independent insurance agency headquartered at 2501 Cattlemen Rd, Unit 1207, Sarasota, FL 34232 — collects, uses, and protects information through cjsinsurancesolutions.com (the “Site”) and in the course of providing insurance agency services.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form on this Site (quote requests, contact forms, help tickets, the Plan Guide assistant's callback request, agent recruiting or contracting forms), we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, coverage interests, and any message you write. Agent contracting forms additionally collect professional details such as licensing information and NPN.

What we deliberately do not collect on this Site. Our web forms and Plan Guide assistant are designed to never request Social Security numbers, payment card details, bank information, medical records, or immigration documents. Please don't type them into any form or chat. If your enrollment later requires sensitive information, a licensed agent will collect it through a secure channel — never through this Site.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider (Netlify) processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to deliver and secure the Site. The Site also runs the Meta Pixel, an advertising and measurement tool from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). It sets cookies and reports to Meta which pages of this Site you viewed, along with your IP address, browser and device information, and referring page, so we can measure how our ads perform and reach people who may want help with coverage. The Meta Pixel is a general page-view tag: it does not transmit anything you type into our forms, and we do not send Meta the contents of your quote requests, help tickets, or Plan Guide conversations. The Plan Guide assistant runs in your browser and does not record conversations on our servers; only a callback request you explicitly submit is transmitted to us.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your request, compare and quote coverage you asked about, provide policy service, complete agent contracting, communicate with you, and meet legal and regulatory obligations that apply to licensed insurance producers. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

3. Calls, texts, and email consent

Where our forms ask for consent to contact you by phone, text, or email, that consent is optional in the sense that it is not a condition of purchasing any policy — though we can't respond to a request without a way to reach you. Message and data rates may apply to texts. You can opt out at any time: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us directly and we'll honor it promptly.

4. When we share information

We share personal information only as needed to do the job you've asked us to do: with insurance carriers and the Health Insurance Marketplace to obtain quotes and process applications you request; with enrollment platforms we use to write business (for example HealthSherpa for Marketplace enrollment); with service providers that operate the Site and our business tools (for example Netlify, which processes form submissions, our scheduling provider Calendly if you book a consultation, and Meta Platforms, which receives the page-view data described in Section 1 through the Meta Pixel); with licensed agents of our agency who service your request; and where required by law, regulation, or a state insurance department.

5. Retention

We keep records as long as needed to serve you and as required by insurance record-keeping laws, which generally require producers to retain transaction records for several years. Lead and inquiry records that never become business are periodically purged.

6. Security

The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS with modern security headers. Form submissions are processed by our hosting provider over encrypted connections and are accessible only to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, which is exactly why we minimize what we collect in the first place.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to know what we've collected. Florida residents have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights; residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and other states have similar rights under their state privacy laws. To exercise any of these rights, email chris@cjsinsurancesolutions.com or call (941) 323-0041 — we'll verify your identity and respond within the time your state's law requires. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.

Opting out of ad tracking. You can limit the Meta Pixel by blocking third-party cookies or turning on tracking protection in your browser, or by adjusting your ad preferences directly in your Facebook or Instagram account settings. Blocking it does not affect your ability to use this Site, submit a form, or work with our agents.

8. Insurance information practices

As a licensed insurance agency, information collected in connection with insurance transactions is also protected by state insurance privacy laws and regulations (including standards based on the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act). We use and disclose nonpublic personal insurance information only as permitted by those laws — to effect, administer, or service transactions you request, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

9. Third-party sites

The Site links to carrier portals, enrollment platforms, review sites, scheduling tools, and independent cost-saving services. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for their practices — read their policies before submitting information there.

10. Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents enrolling dependents provide dependent information to us directly in the course of an insurance transaction.

11. Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes here with an updated effective date. Material changes will be flagged prominently on this page.
