These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of cjsinsurancesolutions.com (the “Site”), operated by CJS Insurance Solutions LLC (“CJS,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms; if you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Who we are

CJS Insurance Solutions LLC is a private, independent insurance agency. Christopher Shannahan is a licensed health insurance agent (NPN 19017266); the agency's NPN is 21618847. We are licensed in Florida and 40+ other states. We are not the federal Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicare, or any government agency, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. government.

2. Educational content — not advice, not an offer

Everything on this Site — pages, guides, the subsidy checker, and the Plan Guide assistant — is general educational information. It is not insurance, medical, tax, or legal advice; not a policy or a contract; and not an offer of, or binder for, coverage. Insurance products are offered and bound only by licensed agents through carrier-approved processes, and every policy is governed solely by its own written terms issued by the carrier.

3. No guarantees; estimates are estimates

Plan availability, premiums, benefits, provider networks, and drug formularies vary by state, county, age, household, and carrier, and change over time. Nothing on this Site guarantees eligibility, enrollment, approval, coverage, premium amounts, subsidy amounts, or savings. The subsidy checker produces an educational estimate from published federal figures; actual premium tax credit eligibility and amounts are determined solely by the Health Insurance Marketplace from your verified application. Final plan details must always be confirmed against official carrier and Marketplace information.

4. The Plan Guide assistant

The Plan Guide is an automated, rule-based educational tool. It is not a licensed insurance agent, cannot make recommendations of specific policies, and cannot make eligibility or benefit determinations. It is designed never to request sensitive information — do not enter Social Security numbers, payment details, medical records, or immigration documents into it. Anything you explicitly submit through its callback feature is handled per our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site: no unlawful use, no attempting to breach security, no scraping or harvesting data, no submitting false or misleading information through our forms, and no interfering with the Site's operation.

6. Intellectual property

The Site's content, design, and branding belong to CJS Insurance Solutions LLC or its licensors. Carrier names and logos belong to their respective owners and appear for identification only; their appearance does not imply endorsement of this agency by any carrier. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use.

7. Third-party links and services

The Site links to third-party websites — carrier portals, enrollment platforms (such as HealthSherpa), scheduling tools, review sites, and independent cost-saving services. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or practices. Your use of those sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CJS Insurance Solutions LLC and its members, officers, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or the professional obligations owed by a licensed agent in an actual insurance transaction.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sarasota County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version, with its effective date, will always be posted here. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.
